SFMT Celebrates 20 Years of the
Youth Theater Project!

Press Page

In Mime Troupe tradition, YTP gives voice to the issues that most concern our city's teens by mentoring the creation of their plays while simultaneously modeling cross-cultural understanding through this play making process. The workshop experience fosters an increase in the participant's self-confidence, expands their world view, and leaves them inspired to continue using art as a means of personal and political expression. YTP is also a free theater workshop, which provides free meals and a monetary incentive to each student.

Invitational Gala Event We are so proud of and thankful for everyone who has been a part of the Youth Theater Project!

This year, we are hosting a 20th Anniversary GALA Reunion to show appreciation for all of the comrades who have made these last twenty years a success.

This day commemorates all of the art that we have created together. It is also a testament of our perseverance through tough times and a chance to thank our leaders, educators, donors, recruiters and participants.
Did you participate in a past YTP?
YOU'RE INVITED!

Join us April 30 @ 7pm-10pm for schmoozing, refreshments, old friends, nostalgic memories, improv games (if you wish to partake), music, and door prizes.

This is a FREE, 21+ Invitational Gala hosted at the Mime Troupe Studio.

Please RSVP by April 20th!
