The San Francisco Mime Troupe tours throughout California and nationally in the fall (September through November). Each year, the company creates a new political, musical satire based on current events. The show premieres in Dolores Park in San Francisco and tours locally throughout the summer. By fall, it is a well-oiled machine and we can bring the full show directly to you.
In tandem with the mainstage show, the Tony Award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe offers a package of residency activities varying in length and focus, which bring our performance style and activist mission to groups of all kinds ranging from youth centers to activist organizations and from college theater programs to labor unions. Members of the company have taught numerous workshops nationally and internationally and have helped create dozens of community plays in the U.S. and abroad.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
We travel with a group of 10-12 people when on tour (4-6 actors, 3 musicians, 3 crew). SFMT travels with its own Commedia stage, set, props & costumes. Our general space requirements are 35 feet width x 25 feet depth x 18 feet overhead clearance.
We are able to perform indoor and outdoor as long as the space meets our requirements.

We also travel with our own sound system & sound operator. Our lighting requirements are simple in that it is to emulate a sunny day and there are often no cues once the show begins.

The SFMT also will provide the following Marketing and PR Materials - four-color 11" x 17" posters, flyers and postcards. We also provide sample press releases, press kits, and public service announcement scripts. There is also digital photographs, full show programs, and show promotional DVDs.
